Guest House

Family living in a rural setting. Located in Moore Creek, the Guest house accommodates all members of the family.

It was a pleasure working with the homeowners on this project. Adapting from the city to a rural lifestyle, we felt it was important to provide them a seamless flow from indoor to outdoor entertaining in their home. The south facing alfresco is designed for entertaining year round, particularly during those hot summer months. The outdoor area includes a barbeque area with a sink, fridge and bar bench. A large VELUX skylight creates a nice feature and provides soft ambient lighting. The main living area offers a generous open plan area with a fire place and square set bulkheads. Our local suppliers and the owners have created a beautiful colour scheme that is bold but warm and welcoming with a hint of Hamptons style. Kaitlyn Dunst

The Project Details

This house design offers a balance of shared living spaces and retreat spaces. Moving from Sydney to Tamworth the homeowners wanted to explore the potential in creating a single storey home when you have 4,000 square metres of land to play with.

Designed by Cameron, this home includes all the ideal spaces for a family. The left side of the house includes a generous master bedroom with a walk through robe and ensuite. The main open plan living area, kitchen with butlers pantry flow out onto the alfresco and pool area. Upon entering the home you find a formal lounge room and office. The right side of the home includes 3 bedrooms with a central activity nook, laundry, cellar and a 3 bay garage.
